On the occasion of this year’s National Children’s Day, pupils and students of the Sule Lamido University (SLU) Staff School marked the day with a memorable and inspirational visit to the University Senate Building. The visit was a key stop before the children proceeded to their scheduled parade and drilling competition, highlighting the university’s commitment to nurturing its youngest members.
Arriving at the Senate Building, the enthusiastic delegation of pupils in their neat uniforms was warmly received by the Vice-Chancellor and other university officials. The school’s management and staff stood alongside the university leadership to welcome the children to the administrative hub of the campus.
During the gathering, the Vice-Chancellor presented special gifts to the pupils and offered words of inspiration to encourage them in their academic and extracurricular pursuits. Following the warm reception, the pupils marched out in a precise formation, heading directly to their scheduled parade and drilling competition to mark the festivities.
